Gulf sources said that the king's visit to Moscow aims
to cement economic relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia, and also to
improve the cooperation to the level of economic and political alliance under
the light of the role Moscow plays in the territory.
Moreover, experts referred to that Saudi Arabia seeks
to find peaceful solution for the Iraqi, Yemini, and Palestinian crises in
addition to disable the Iranian role in the territory. Saudi political writer al Fayad, sees that
this visit is a historical one because King Salaman is the first Saudi king to
visit Russia. He also pointed out that the time has come to understand the
importance of the Russian role in the territory and to exert joint efforts to
find solutions the crises in the territory. Analysts and experts stress also on
the point that Russia wants to establish strong alliance with Riyadh to find
strong Russian role in territory to replace the traditional American role which
lost its efficiency in the territory as a result of the former president Obama
polices.
